My school is looking at picking up a color correction board and everyone here is all gung-ho for the Tangent Wave 2 - but I do not see that it (at least natively) interfaces with Avid Media Composer...? I had heard there might be a third-party plug-in that allows...

I am on a Media Composer 7.0.3. I want to color correct in 10bit, but the color correction tool says 8 bit and I cant find a place to change the setting. Does anyone know if it can be changed to 10bit, and how its done? Thanks!

It would be a nice feature, if you are exporting for an xdcam disk, or other exports, with an option to limit the colors for tv-norms (with Presets). So the editor is safe, when he has to deliver to a tv-station.

We're currently working with curves, but this applies to all the GUI color correction controllers... Looking for a way to adjust curves with more fine control. Using a mouse or even a tablet are like great for wild transformations, but for more subtle changes the best we can do is nudge the numbers...

Yes, I have gotten both the venetian blinds look and a green-tint (and/or magenta-tint) flash frame or series of tinted flash frames. I'm using XDCAM footage and it seems to happen near transitions. the venetian blind phenomenon seems to happen near effects when i'm fading titles/keyed graphics...
