Back in the days of version 3 or 4 I can recall that reel numbers were stored internally as project_name:reel_no. They likely still are, but the difference is that back then it was possible to change the reel number in a new project to the same reel number as media imported from another project already had and it would change the hidden project name

I have no trouble accessing the website, but when I attempt to download Blend-X I get the message " Website Blocked: djfio.com Malwarebytes Browser Guard blocked this page because it may contain malicious activity." That may just be Malwarebytes being too aggressive and triggering a false positive, but the site definitely is there and accessible

I think you could pretty safely drop the "probably" and replace it with "highly likely to be", Job. It's not a characteristic that I've ever seen on Avid exports, but it's something that VLC media player does as standard.
