I am working on a project that is 720x480 and need to incorporate psd files that are 960 by 720. how do i properly get them into my avid timeline and have them look clear when i export? I dont want to crop the file because i need the whole frame

What is your deliverable, just standard def dvd? Probably a quicktime ref movie.

MH, One thing you might want to try is to make sure that the FCP project has the same framerate/aspect ratio as that of the avid clip you are exporting. If they are diff, then FCP wil need to render. PU

This format/framerate combination is not an option when setting up a project in avid media composer. Are there any ways of getting around this?
