I have the Nitris version with Ref1 and Ref2 ports. My main concern is that when I open an Avid project that is not set to Ref Sync Loop-through in Video Output Tool (and majority are not, as this is not the default setting when you create a new Avid project), Nitris would not pass through the ref sync signal from the sync generator to the next device

Hello! I am still using Nitris DX with an old version of Media Composer for some legacy applications, and I have a question about the behaviour of Ref sync connections to it. It is actually a part of quite large system consisting of several VTRs, standalone SSD recorders, SDI and RS422 matrices, even a linear editing controller. And a sync generator

Looks like I have solved the issue. Indeed, in the Mac OS System Settings under Security & Privacy there was a notice that I have to allow Avid Technology to make some changes. I allowed that, restarted the computer (had to do it twice until the notice disappeared), and voilá - all works now! Usually the installation wizard notifies that

The only errors that appear in the Client Manager log pane are the ones that can be seen in the screenshot I posted earlier. Looks like I will have to open a support ticket, as I definetely do not have time to reinstall my system in the next few months.

Just added the IP to the Remote host list, but it does not help. I still cannot disable unused NICs from the Interfaces panel. Client Manager v2025.2.2 does not work either - I already tried. It has the same problem as the 2025.3 Where could I get the v2024.11 Client Manager installation? I don't have it anymore. Avid downloads center does not have

Well, reinstalling the whole system would be the very last thing I would like to do, as I have no time for that. Maybe there is a chance for me to try an older version of Client Manager? Maybe something from 2024 would work? The only problem is that I do not have the installation for any older versions, and I can only download the latest one on Avid

I have never changed the client type. It has always been set to Low Resolution (I believe it is the default one). Just tried all other options, and nothing seems to change. Left it to High Resolution now, as you suggested. To me it seem that the main problem is that I cannot disable the unused Network Interfaces. Whenever I deselect them, apply the

Just updated my NEXIS Pro to v2025.2.2, also installed Client Manager v2025.3 to my main machine (Mac Studio M1 Ultra, Mac OS v14.7.5), and it does not see NEXIS anymore. The NEXIS Admin panel works fine - I can log in to it normally, and all seems to be working as usual. In Client Manager Network Interfaces settings a lot of Ethernet interfaces show

Hi Robert, If you don't touch the material colour-wise, then there is almost no visual difference between ProRes and uncompressed. You will only be able to see the difference in scopes. However, once you start to fiddle with colour and want to bring out details from extreme ends of the signal, there is quite big chance you will start to notice some

[quote user="Robert Martindale"] ...dude...with all due respect... ....have you even tried to flipped these files to a modern codec?...or are you waiting for avid to fix this simple issue you could take care of? ...r u a pro?
