Nice to see that avid STILL can't sort out AMA'ing H264 files correctly. There's still a 1 or 2 frame difference in duration when AMA'ing with avid generic plugin compared to quicktime plugin.

+1 for given up on it. Can't even do plain white text without it putting a non-removalable thin grey outline around the text. I dive straight into photoshop now, or after effects if I need it animating.

I've found the problem. Lets see if you/tech can recreate. Project is 1080p/59.94 Occasionally when you select full in/out (T on keyboard) it places an outpoint outside the end of the timeline. If you remove and create manually its ok

Weiredly it didnt do it on this project on the previous version we had instaledl (2019.7) Only since updating. And why would clearing the in/out and redoing the same would it export if there was a corrupt clip?

Not sure if a bug or a "feature" in 2019.9 In SubCap generator, when you first load the settings, if you single click the opacity of the subtitle box, the icon(dot) turns pink you type the number and that number is put into the caption, and the opacity doesnt change. If you double click the icon(dot) you can then type your number and it changes

Another random error we're getting across all suites since installing 2019.9 Sometimes on exporting a timeline to MXF OP1a, timeline is marked in/out, the error comes up after clicking save to export the file, but if you then refresh the marked in/out and try again the export works fine.

Keep getting this error on one of our edit suites since installing 2019.9 Any idea what is causing it. Have to do a full system reboot to clear it.

We have photoshop and install fonts quite a lot through the adobe font manager. So this could be a cause. have deleted all the mcstates multiple times but the problem soon comes back. has happened with new projects started since 2019.x as well as long standing ones from 2018

Yes case - 03771202 but cos can't easily replicate it, support are struggling to copy it. Even though all three of our suites do it

We have UI fonts issues here, been happening since 2019.6. Some days it works fine, others every time we open avid its a different font but as its not something we can replicate support cant help. The only fix is when it happens is select the window that has the wrong font, then choose windows menu and set font, then re-save user settings/each timeline
