Nevermind... just found it. So it's no longer available with right-click, but a simple Command-D duplicates.

Just updated to the latest Avid MC 8.6.2 and have noticed some menu cleanup, but I can't locate the duplicate sequence feature, and I used that a lot. If anyone knows that would be awesome.

I shot footage on the Canon HF G30 camera. 29.97 1080p MP4 @ 35Mbps. So does that mean I can use DNxHD or lower on import? This is just a pro-sumer camera, and I don't want to kill the equality any more than needed. Thanks for any advice!

Doc Maker - did you make any headway on this? I'm in the same boat as you with a Macbook Pro and 4K footage coming my way.

I'm also interested in this. I can use Mac or Windows, but really don't like Windows. Would love to know what you got working for your 4K workflow.

Thanks Pat. For anyone else scratching their heads on the proper GoPro work flow and equipment, I'll report back as to what I find. I'm going to try dealing with the footage on my Macbook Pro first with G-Studio attached drives. If that lags I'm looking at either the maxed out iMac or the 8-core Mac Pro. I just hate buying a Mac Pro right

I've been using Avid awhile, since the MC 3.x days, but it's always been either offline film, 1080p or less resolutions. Now I'm getting ready to cut some 4K footage from the GoPro Hero 3 Black, and next year I'll be getting into 4K stuff from the Black Magic... but that's still a few months out. I'm currently editing on a Macbook
