All the Chassis are in PTP, 2 workstations in PTP, and one in PTP preffered. I always configure as PTP, I dont kn ow how can be changed. As soon as I discover that 1 workstation was wrong I change the configuration, and all works fine. TO be honest I never think that 1 workstation can make this strange behavior. All days we can learn something... Regards

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! After some days one of the Workstations sometimes cant connect, but connect fine on restart. I check the atto configuration, and the connection mode show "PTP Preffered" I change this to PTP, and add the 16 x 500GB drives of the second mediarray to the Data drive set and WORKS! This atto setting maybe can cause a conflict

The clients are z800 & 2x xw8600 on W7. Work fine if I use only 1 mediarray Chassis, the second are connected, but not in the Data drive set. Thanks in advance. REgards Rob.

Hi in the Setup Mannager i see the 32 drives in the Data drive set (2x1TB spares & 2x500GB spares). and in the Raw drives I see the other 16x500gb Drives. If I add the raw drives to the data drive set, i can connect the clients. if I remove the 16x500 gb drives from the Data drive set, and add the other drives work fine, but dont work with the 32x500gb

Hi, I have a very strange situation. 3 Avid MC on 5.0.3 1 MediaEngine V5.1.3 4gb Ram 16x1TB (all green on profiler). 1 Qlogic with the configuration of 1NM, 5 Clients, 4 JBOD. 2 Mediarray LP 16x500gb( with the correct IBOD to work on 5.1.3). When I add 1 Mediarray LP to the Data Drive set all works fine, if I add the second mediarray all the clients

Puede que sea UNITY sobre Mediarray LP con discos de 500, y no como piensas sobre ZX con discos de 180. Lamentablemente la respuesta es NO. Avid "Firma" los discos con un firmware especial (de ellos) y si el unity no encuentra ese firmware, simplemente no funciona. entre otras cosas como "optimizar" el funcionamiento de los discos

I can recommend Infortrend Sata to SAS dual channel, you can find 12, 16, or 24 drives in rack configuration. regards Rob.
