I use Topaz Video AI to up the resolution on all of my old DV tapes. This goes from 29.97 interlaced to FHD 59.94 non-interladed progressive. The AMPIPIPluginDSM.avx location is in the Avid\Avid Media Composer\Private_Plug-Ins directory. If you remove it you won't be able to install any other plug-ins. Or maybe you will. The answer is Avid will not work with an older Quadro card. It also doesn't work well with a newer GTX/RTX card as much of the processing is CPU based while some of it is GPU based. Resolve will not work well with an older Quadro card. It works fine with current GTX or RTX cards (and get an RTX card instead).

Almost all of the editing software available, from Premiere to Resolve, uses DNxHD and DNxHR. They also can create movies in DNxHD and DNxHR. So does Shutter Encoder. This is how you can import files back to Media Composer.

Select the timeline. Choose File -> Output -> Export to File -> Link to Video and Audio. Select Options. From the popup box, choose AAF. Choose Link To (Dont Export) Media and choose Save. In the export As choose the device and folder where you want to put the file and choose Save. From Resolve, create a new project or open an existing project

I'm not at my editing system at the moment, but you should be able to change the keyboard by going to Settings -> Update User Profile -> Keyboard. Unfortunately I can't check this out but this may be how you change the keyboard.

If you're still using the same Email, then you may need to go into Avid Link and activate the license. If you've switched Emails this may no longer work.

What kind of effect is Flop FX? Is this a video effect or an audio effect? And is this effect designed for Mac?

Shutter Encoder will encode to DNxHR, along with a lot of other CODECs.

You might need the Nexis Client 2023.3 version to run on Monterey.
