... or perhaps do a video mixdown of the final edit and apply the time-warp effect to that.
I did this too with a field order issue I couldn't resolve.

  • Re: MPEG file not supported

Thanks for the reply Tomas. I'll experiment with this when I get some time but I went with the progressive route via video mixdown and timewarp applied as the film will be played from an iPad and DVD rarely. Thanks again, Dean

  • Re: MPEG file not supported

OK, I think I may have posted a little prematurely! Here is another bit of info. I noticed (which I obviously didn't the first 3 times) that the Adobe Media Encoder shows that the Sony MPEG source is Upper Field and PAL defaults to Lower so I used the Matrox DV codec as that allows the changing of the field order and what quietly confident that

  • MPEG file not supported

Hello, I wonder if anybody can give some guidance with unsupported MPEG files from a Sony consumer SD camcorder. When I try and import into MC it says the format is not supported, not a problem I thought as I have the Adobe Media Encoder, so I encoded as MXF files DV 420 edited a short (thankfully) film and put it out to DVD via Sorensen Squeeze and

  • Still and Video Track Priority

Hello, Is there a way to simply import stills with a second "handle" either end to allow for fades to be simply added rather than manually mark the In and Out points for each still? Also can somebody tell me if Media Composer V1, V2, V3 etc still maintain proirity even when moved ie: I have a number of stills on V1 and import and add the animated

  • Re: Importing 4:3 photos in 16:9 Project

Apologies for the incredible slow reply. I've tried the Project to 4:3, import photos and flip back to 16:9 and the photos are distorted to fit 16:9. I've found a that using a 3D Warp effect with a 75 x 100 y setting pulls in the aspect ratio and allows for some minimal zoom as generally the photos are not of good enough quality for an Avid

  • Importing 4:3 photos in 16:9 Project

<!-- @page { margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } --> Hello, I'm looking at composing a short photo montage at the end of a short family film I'm making and was looking for some advice about how to put this together as I get the impression MC isn't that great when it comes to stills. The Project is PAL SD 16:9 but the

Hello, I believe this information was for some reason moved to the AUX 1 field after version 5. I don't think this field is visible by default so you'll need to add it to the shown columns. Hope this helps. Dean
