Hi gary, The Terenex will give your the best picture. As you should know it has a 2-4 frame delay. Figure out what is is then move all the Sd clips into a bin and adj. the TC the frames needed. I do this all the time. Good Luck! Evan

Sorry if I was not too clear. Not looking to be able to edit Surround. Our clients goto audio houses to do the audio. If we get the 6 separate tracks they like to listen in our rooms. Audio houses are known for not having great monitors. And some HD &/or SD masters have Dolby E. So We are just looking to monitor this. Thanks again, Evan

Hi, Anyone find an advantage with putting more then the 4gigs of ram in the HP's Avid sells. In regards to Avid's performance with Seq that are 1+ hrs long.

Are you sure it's not that it the 720p/59.94 (24p) meaning that it's always over 59.94 so you need to be in a 59.94 project. I do tons of 720p/24 projects and you ALWAYS use a 720p/59.94 project. -E

Is no one monitoring when doing a HD layback with 5.1 channels?

Me too. But I have a fix... Go to Options then change it to 16bit. It's on the right. I may have the wording off I'm not at a system. Then re-save and it's all good. ;-) -Evan
