  • Re: Background queue won't start

    Same issue here, 8.9.3 as well, trying to run 4k footage from a C300 on an external USB 3.0 to DNxHR LB on my media drive (OSX). The C300 footage fails to run as does some H264 cellphone footage on the same external. Background services icon is red. I can Stop them and Start them, but it fails to start properly. Nothing in Console.

    I'm having the exact same issue here, clearly there is a workflow step I'm missing. This is frustrating, and a little obvious on key shots I'm dealing with. I'm a little late to the 4K game, been deaing mostly with 1080i for broadcast up until this project. Source footage Canon C300 Mark II (4096x2160 23.98, XF-AVC Intra 422). Project

    Ugh. My Account info still lists my System as having support - it ran out months ago. I purchased and received a new MCSUPP contract - but the site will not allow me to activate it because it thinks I have a contract. Calling support yields no love, as their system rightly says my Sys ID has no support. I refuse to spend money on a one-time code just

    Thanks, this led me to the latest readme. Looks like when the Digidesign surfaces went 1394, they left Avid MC support behind. Would have been nice to continue to use my friend's old tool, but perhaps I can find another home for it and pick up a Command|8 used or hunker down for a current surface from Avid. Shame, but understandable when trying

    I've had a Digidesign 003 gathering dust in my home Edit suite for a little over a year now, inherited from a late friend's hobbiest ProTools home studio when he passed. After reading the Co-Installation article on the support site, it clear that ProTools and MC need to be installed in a particular order, but it was unclear if that also applies
