Thanks, Matt. We're on different versions - 5.5.1 vs 5.5.3 - Don't know if there is something in that. Do you capture analog or is it DV? No idea why but it just cuts out on me.

I needed to capture some SD material and I used the component cable for the Mojo. After around 40 or so seconds, MC stops capturing wth an error and the composer window showa a picture as if it's out of sync i.e. as if you need to adjust the vertical hold to get the picture lined up again. Also, the picture is split horizontally and vertically.

The Forums is my home page on my browser and when I opened the browser a few minutes ago, intending to go to another site, my eyes caught the banner very briefly as the page disappeared and I thought, did I see what I thought I saw? It doesn't matter if the video is SD or HD as it has the same effect. I've

Definitely working under Windows 7 64-bit. I've used it under this OS for quite a while.

Stu - download this program and run it. It should show you what's causing the blue screen. You don't need to install it, just run it, and it will pick-up the dump file that Windows generate. Blue screens are mostly driver crashes. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Thanks for all the info and all the help. Much appreciated. I still have my WinXP partition which has Avid XPro HD 5.8.4 and Protools LE 7.4 and everything works fine on that. I know, for example, that the CLK output works but in general I can listen to the output and hear the clock signal. You're right in your second point - get a clean install

Thanks for the info. I do know its a driver issue as I've tried an older driver and managed to get the 002 to light but the audio has been distorted or it causes the system to crash. Yes, i do have right Firewire cards. Believe it or not, I did change the harness too. I had too because it wouldn't switch on and I discovered that this was a known
