...but 190.38 is only for a 32 bit version of Win 7 and 182.65 is for XP (64 bit). The other thing is that I went to my Macbook Pro and tried to use the same effects there and had the exact same problem. That seems really weird to me. Could there be a plugin I'm missing or something?
Until recently (using

Scott - if I try to play the file in QT it says that it's not a format it understands. I've also had this issue before, although not a software crash over it, where MC will fail to import it or freeze half way through it but other apps have no issue with it. I know that MC6 imported AVCHD files that were failing to import in MC5, so clearly

Thanks. Good to know that it's a performance thing and not anything else. With the latest Resolve Lite 9.1.5 (July) they recommend the 310 driver - I read that in one of their docs but I can't quite find in which doc it was. What they say about the GPU is this: "DaVinci Resolve uses CUDA technology for real time processing, and so typically

Is anyone using Resolve Lite with a Quado 2000? If so, could you please tell me what driver version you're using? I'm using MC5.5.3. Thanks

As long as the drivers are set to legacy, then it captures and plays back fine. I haven't tried using a PCI-E card because I have a couple of PCI slots on my motherboard which don't

I have a 720p AVI file with two pairs of stereo channels - if you look in MediaInfo, it shows two audio streams but only one ever gets imported into MC5.5.3. I don't know if there is way of importing both or do I have to demux them and import the second stereo channel seperately? Thanks

I'm using MC5.5.3 and I got the error shown when trying to import the clip. The clip plays fine with WMP and VLC. I took the clip into Squeeze 8.5.1 (it plays fine) and converted into a MOV DNxHD145 (1080i/59.94 8-bit 709) file and was able to import it into MC without a problem. Certainly, MC has a problem with this clip in MC5.5.3 and, by the
