Do you have an i/o card? I have an AJA Kona-1 and had too many CC hangs and freezes on 2021.12 (Win 10) when I turned on the Kona output, so I rolled back to 2021.9 until it's fixed. I was given a bug report number when I brought it up to tech support: MCCET-4476 -- Maybe your system setup is similar?
No, you're not crazy, in AMA linking there was 'subfolder'.
I might be crazy for other reasons... glad this isn't one of them! :) It's been a while since v8.6
I've got subfolders of quicktimes (mp4) and that's not behaving well...

It may have always been called "Create bin based on folder" and not "sub-folder." My bad. I've always had luck selecting a parent folder and Avid will automatically create the necessary bins for the many folders of footage inside though. It generally works better with some organization on the Desktop level, avoiding nested folders

4K scaling is much improved, but still not perfect, and it may depend on the size of your display. You might have to play with the Windows 10 "Scale and layout" percentage in Display settings to decide what works best for you. For example the recommended 100% scaling on my large 34" 4K desktop display works fine, but the recommended 250
This is what I see.
Please reread my previous post. Yes, the info generated by copy to clipboard HAS this info. But I have to copy and paste from a text file generated by the program BACK INTO THE SAME PROGRAM. It's still a problem under 2019.8
select "Preference" tab then go to copy license info
This resulting text file does contain the system ID and activation codes. But this also proves my point that if Avid Link already knows this info then why do I have to MANUALLY copy and paste to reactive my products? It's all so archaic.

I haven't had to deactivate MC (2019.7) in a while, but I just had to. When I deactivated, Avid Link (also 2019.7) automatically deacativated ALL of my options including PhraseFind, ScriptSync, and Symphony. When I tried to reactivate them the System ID is blank AND the Activation ID fields are blank too. This is requiring me to log on to Avid.com

I too have noticed Workspaces not remembering my "Save Current" configurations. It's random and without warning. This has mostly been annoying me in the "Effects" setting the past few days. It completely doesn't remember my saved window positions, what's docked, what's not... at all. Fortunately I'm getting good
In the Avid Link>Preferences tab once you click the "Clear Cache files" this include deleting the downloaded files.
Ah, thianks! I found the "Clear Cache Files" -- which is also rather hidden -- I didn't realize that's what it does. I still think being less obtuse about it, and perhaps
