  • Re: In anyone using Titler+ successfully? Or is it me?

Titler+ is simply a disaster. Let me count (some) of the ways: 1. It's unstable. If you select the text and right justify it, the next time you click on the bounding box, the text moves to part way inside and partway outside the bounding box. 2. I have a fairly powerful machine (higher than the Avid specs) and if I don't render the titles, I

  • MC2019 Importing multiple png sequences from multiple folders

I'm working in animation. I am getting files as pngs for each frame of a shot. I have my import settings set to automatically detect sequentially number files, etc. My issue is that each shot is in it's own folder: Seq_010_shot_10, Seq_010_shot_20, etc. Is there a way to import or even link multiple shots from their separate folders. Right now

  • Export Bin to txt File

We recently converted from MC8.9.1 to MC2019.12. In MC 8, I could click on the Name column of a bin, then right click and select output and export to file then select either to export the highlighted clips as either an ALE or txt file. This function doesn't seem to exist in 2019.12. When I try it in 2019, it only allows me to export it as media

  • Can't relink some clips in MC2019.12

I am working on a project that was originally set up as a 23.98fps project in MC8.9. It was then converted to a 24fps project. Now, we are moving studios and the project is going from MC8.9 to 2019.12. We've been able to relink most of the files. However, there are a number which were originally brought in in the 23.98 project (and thus, are being

  • Re: Titler Pro Standalone Issues

Switching seemed to screw some other things up so that's not an option. I still havent been able to figure out why the title stretches across the screen. Nor have I been able to get the title to be named anything other than "filler." Unfortunately, I'm taking up where others left off so I don't always have or understand the logic

  • Re: Titler Pro Standalone Issues

It doesn't really say. When I look at the About, it just says Build 180117. On the desktop, it says New Blue Titler Pro Standalone. As for my specs its 2k DCI Flat 1998x1080 1.85.1 23.976. I'm not really applying it to a clip, per se. Some of the titles are actual titles (e.g. Chicago, 1952). Others are note (Character should be in a certain

  • Re: Titler Pro Standalone Issues

I do not even know or understand why they went back. However, in the MC8.9.1, there is no title tool application. If you click on that, a message pops up that says to install New Blue Titler for use in a project this size. I'm not sure how or where to find the older Title Tool application.

  • Titler Pro Standalone Issues

I am working on a project that was started on a Mac with MC 2018. It is now on a PC with MC 8.9.1. The old Title Tool Application is not available, evidently. What is installed is New Blue Titler Pro Standalone. To say that this program is a piece of crap is to sully the name of crap. There are so many issues. Now, I understand Avid is getting away

  • Re: Go to In Mark on Multiple Clips

Boards are generally still images. In the current case, jpgs. To manipulate them into intermittment movement, you extend or shorten the length of each image to correspond with action, dialogue, etc. Sometimes there are revisions to boards (meaning they are redrawn) Often it will be a board (or jpg) for board (or jpg) replacement -- but not always. Multiple
