Dan - if you go into the drive that you would like to refresh and find and delete the ".mdb" and ".pmr" files, Avid will automatically only refresh that specific drive. No need to remove the others from your system.

Transcoded at DNxHR LB / 23.98 / 1920 right now but happens with 4k footage as well in a HD timeline

This was happening on 2021.12 and its still happening on 2023.8. Two video clips and an audio file autosynced into one clip. in the Preview monitor cant play the files in double time without the video freezing and the audio continuing. When I stop playback, the timeline bar jumps back to the moment when the video froze. This only happens in Preview

For the record - Windows 11 acts the same as Windows 10 (POST version 1909) when trying to quit out of Media Composer when attached to a Mojo DX (and Im assuming a Nitris DX as well). You get a BSOD. Seems like anyone using the Mojo or Nitris hardware is hard capped at Windows 10 Version 1909. Which also limits the Adobe Creative Cloud upgrades as well

At some point - and shortly after the announcement Avid EOLd the Mojo DX and Nitris DX and there would be no more updates - a Windows 10 update broke the compatibility between Avid MC and the I/O box and a hard crash would occur when closing out of the app. Has anyone tested as to whether or not Windows 11 is causing this same problem? Forums searches show that this error popped up in earlier Avid versions (mid 2018) and was tagged as a bug. I've been able to go back to 2022.10 and have the

Unless Im misunderstanding what you're trying to do - you should be able to drag the effect to a bin (pull the effect icon from the effect palette) once you've made all the changes that you want and then apply that altered effect to your titles. That way you wont have to click the 'Apply to Title" or change the Premultpiply settings

The PC version to keep a drive spinning is called KeepAliveHD. Another thing to check is in the Computer Management app - Device Manager - Disk Drives. Right click the drive in question and under Policies choose Better Performance. I find that this can help too - alghough this option means you have to properly remove the drive and not just pull it from

Yeah - I had tried that, but getting the .SCC successfully back into Avid was hit or miss. Some would import, some would not, some of the formatting changes worked, some didnt. Plus, the higher end caption software was incredibly cost prohibitive, so I was using free versions. (before you say it was the the free versions fault - the same caption files

CC files taken off of old master tapes. Everything works and looks fine, but some need text editing. Anyway to do that in MC?
