According to the version matrix, if you want to run Ventura 13.4, you have to be running Media Composer 2023.3 or 2022.12. Your current version - 2021.6 - is not qualified for use with Ventura. https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/compatibility/en267087

Personally I'm on 2023.3 for my freelance work. In my experience in the UK most places are on 2018, 2021, or 2023. I don't know what Mac people are doing for titles, but I'm on a PC so I'm still using the legacy title tool.

You should be able to drop a timewarp effect onto a clip even if it already has a frame flex on it. If that is not working, what happens when you try?

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline showing a choppy and a smooth transition?

Are there any indicators on the TC track? These would be blue, yellow, or red lines where the playback is choppy.

The big change with Catalina and later versions of MacOS is that Apple eliminated support for 32-bit apps. Quicktime is a 32-bit app, so that caused a lot of changes in the linking and importing functions of Media Composer. Hi, Try this: When you start Media Composer, press and hold the 'w' key on the keyboard, which should bring up the dialog box that allows you to choose between trial mode or MC First.
