Just in case: if you don't change parameters there is no need to reconfigure a codec each time. Also it could be helpful to have several codec instances with unique settings and use appropriate one for each case.

First one is DNxHD codec component, it is identified by 'AVdn' value in cType filed of ImageDescription atom structure, vendor shall be 'AVID', name shall be 'DNxHD 709' or 'DNxHD RGB' depending on decodeColorMapping

This is not a known issue. Could you please provide more information in order to create a bug description. Which resolution is selected in Standard Video Compression Settings? Which alpha? Check a value used for the row bytes. In case if you set the row bytes equal to zero, the line alignment is assumed to be a multiple of 6 pixels, not a multiple of 48 pixels.
