  • AMT 2.10.0.923 fails to open any P2 MXF File

Hi, I've just updated my AMT development version from 2.8 to 2.10. Now OpenMxfFile fails on any P2 MXF OP Atom derived file with error code 72 (AMT_UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION_RAISED). Rewrapped OP1a files still work as expected. Console output shows the following error: Syntaxerror. [ 24-11-2014 14:38:55,103 ] Assertion "Get DisplayWidth succeeded"

  • Re: Optimizing MXF OP1a import into Interplay

Rob, this is more or less what I'm currently doing. Using OpenMxfFile ( &srcAMTSession, filename, NULL ); on every OP Atom file and calling CreateAmtInterplayClip (&dstAMTSession, baseFilename, dMediaProperties, NULL ...) to create and checkin a new Interplay/ISIS clip using the pass-through interface. The clips are transfered using CreateAmtTrack

  • Optimizing MXF OP1a import into Interplay

Hi, currently I'm using a mixture of bmx (MXF Toolkit) and AMT (CreateAmtInterplayClip) in order to import/checkin MXF OP1a files into our Interplay/ISIS system. bmx rewraps the OP1a file into OP atom files and AMT import these files into interplay including check in. This works as expected but it's rather slow as AMT decomposes the already

  • Future of Interplay Web Services

Hello, after receiving an email about "Important Changes to Avid Software Availability" announcing radical changes to all products using the Java VM we are concerned about the future of Interplay Production Web Services. The KB article (http://is.gd/1G82Em) lists all versions of Interplay WS as affected. We have backups of current Interplay

  • Re: Updating shotlist via WebService

Thank you Rob for your quick answer. I've already thought about a similar solution. In my case it would be even easier because I have all mob-ids and in/out points available. The only problem I see is that a user who is already viewing the existing shotlist wouldn't know that an updated version is available. Maybe I should have explained in

  • Updating shotlist via WebService

Hello, we are already creating shotlists via WebService Interface. Sometimes we would like to update existing shotlists instead of creating new ones. Reading the WebService documentation I wasn't able to find any information about updating shotlists programmatically. What's the recommended way of updating shotlists using WebServices? Regards

  • Creating a sequence with AMT?

Hello, is it possible to create a video sequence using AMT? Reading through the documentation and the example sources it should be possible to merge several clips into a single file at least. But the resulting file would be just a single large clip and not a sequence consisting of several different independant clips. Regards, KaH

  • How to create Headframe/Thumbnail programatically

Hello, we're using AMT and WebServices in order to check in videofile into an Interplay/ISIS environment. After checkin all clips are missing a thumbnail/headframe. WebServices offer a way to checkin images. But what's the best way to extract a single frame as jpeg file from a MXF file? As far as I know AMT doesn't provide a way for thumbnail

  • Re: CreateAmtInterplayClip and clip name

Thank you Chris, that solved my problem. I was a bit confused about the "local" in "local_amt_file_specification".

  • CreateAmtInterplayClip and clip name

Hello, I use CreateAmtInterplayClip to directly import MXF files into an Interplay/ISIS System. This works as expected aside from the clip name. All imported clips get the name "newAmtClip". Is it possible to name clips during import using CreateAmtInterplayClip or do I have to use the webservices in order to solve this problem? Regards, Kai
