I have always captured analog footage from VHS, DVD etc. by streaming it through my mini DV camera into Avid through firewire (no Mojo). I just upgraded to 5.6.3 and now I am having an audio problem when doing that. I just built a new system around an AMD X2 4400 dual core processor socket 939. I chose this set up because it is recommended for ProTools, which is where I do a majority of my work. Has anyone found a fix for not being able to render the Avid DV codec in 720X480? 720X486 renders fine but not 720X480. I know this has been discussed on the forum before and was wondering if there was a fix for it.

Adrenaline does not sopport it either as far as I know.

Avid does not yet support JVC's HDV 24p format. It has been said that it is "coming soon" since they announced intentions to support it a year and a half ago. I have had the camera for a year, still waiting to shoot in 24p HDV. If you need that format right now, FCP just announced it is supported.
