Hi I'm using MC 2022 with 2 monitors and am having some issues with built in workspaces ie edit, effects etc. I of course would like to use my right monitor for playback and my left for composer windows and bins. When I select one of the predefined media composer workspaces the app places the record and play window and timeline on the right monitor

Just moving my Media Composer from my old Mac to my my brand new Mac Studio and am getting this error. EssentialresourceNotAvailableError Cannot find much on it on avid forumes etc. Seems to be some going back to 2005. Does this have anything to do with uninstalling and reinstalling on another machine ? I thought I did it correctlt. Help please. Additionally

Because I am not to smart or like reading the Readme's that come with Media Composer I was wondering what versions of Media Composer and Mac OS work best together at this moment in time ? Would any speed be compromised by the same boot drive running the OS and the Media simultaneously. Meaning if the media and the OS are on the same drive separated by partitioning would that be as fast as having a separate internal SSD drive for both the media and the OS. Thanks.

Hi Gang I have always been told not to put video files (ie MXF or quicktime) on the same drive as my OS and thus the "filter out system drive" option on Avid. I was wondering if I have an internal say 4TB SSD drive can I partition it like 1 TB and 3 TB and put my OS on the 1 TB partition and video files on th 3TB partition and thus achieve
