newer versions do exactly what you want them to do and its great. i can now have one big superbin with all my favorite shots grouped how i like in thumbnail view and they confrom to the grid/grouping as you scale the thumbnails up or down. love it. time for an upgrade maybe?

FWIW, ive been workin in a big multi enviroment and 2022.7 is much better. Not great by any means but things show up as they were intended from editor to editor. our main gripe is the slowdown timeline and having to render every title and for some reason the render will break eventually no matter what so all of the sudden youll be editing in quick sand

It is a little crazy that a Titler is causing this much drama. Love me some Avid but this like the least thing youd expect to give you trouble in an NLE and alas - were like 3 years in on this thing and not far off from where we started. For me its the rendering every time you have to playback a sequence, and seemingly every change in a timeline will

well aware of import settings but besides music and sfx - i dont import my own stuff and sometimes we have to pick up where another left off. sometime theirr sequences have 40+ tracks of audio when it could be 20 - i really really dont get it.

i to work with a bunch dual mono people. i dont get it at all. never got a good reason as to why they prefer that way either. its always just....because.

im seeing this to. hot ok, then click in an empty area of the timeline before making the next correction. this has solved it for me.

im seeing this in 2021.12 as well on Monterey.

i think the fact its taking so long to fix what should be pretty simple, is a big tell. this thing is cursed and w/o rewriting the whole thbing - probably will never be a stable tool. i mean, its a title tool for gods sake. youd think this would b the easirst thing to implement ever.

my mixers tell me this all the time because they are lazy! lol the info comes through, just extra work for them i think. at the end of the day i tell them that this is the way i prefer to work and that using gain/cuts/dissolves would slow me down quite a bit and an an extra layer to get in the way of creativity. my bosses support that its my choice

far from ready for primetime - but the titler has come along way in the last couple versions. at least on my system i can make my simple slates and plain non moving black and white full screen temp title cards w/o pulling out my hair and they play in realtime. other than that - its still broken af. adding color - let alone movement, or trying to re
