Part of the reason why I thought about RAID 5 is that, normal consumer drives are indeed cheap, but Enterprise SAS 4 TB drives, less so. (It's just me, I do not own a large video business). But then again, if Raid 5 is not that reliable and a pain to rebuild, I'm open to other options.
