I have definitely experienced slow performance throughout the interface. Even the simplest things like timecode display freezing randomly while playing and capturing footage has never been an issue with my system until I installed MC 3.1. I can confirm almost all the complaints listed in previous posts. View "my complete system specs" for

Sure... I ended up doing 3 full installs of Vista, but mostly because of all the peripherals I use and because of my own quirky customization. First off, I'm using a 4-port dual-video KVM switch to swap back and forth between 4 different systems, 2 Mac Pros, the xw8400 Avid MCA system and a Pioneer PRV-LX1 DVD recorder. Secondly, I use a Mac keyboard

I've been running Vista Biz x64 on and off for the past 4 months. It took a while and a couple full re-installs to get everything working properly in our environment. Sorry I'm so late replying, I've been out of town at the funeral of a relative... Here's the procedure. Actually... there is a way to downgrade the new Macs from 10.5/Leopard to 10.4/Tiger. It's a fairly easy mod to the Apple 10.4 install disk. All you need is a text editor and the ability to burn to a 8.5GB dual-layer dvd. I'm currently posting this message from a 8-core 3 Ghz Mac Pro running OS 10.4 Tiger. Apple and everyone else will tell you
