Reading your post, it sounds like your original transcoded .mxfs were deleted, right? Were the .mp4 files a different franerate than your project? Do you recall seeing this message box? it explains that Relinking, etc. will not be possible. In any event, are you using the "Relink to Selected" option in Relink? You ought to be able to try it

I did find it helpful to make 1-frame edits on the timeline to see what was happening with timecodes.

Hi If, Yes I agree after comparing on a different pic with same settings. 3D pip looks better. Softer using 3D Warp (both with green HQ mode button on). Thanks for noticing this. Maybe there's a way to get 3D Warp looking just as sharp.... perhaps check out your Render Settings for different options? Someone at HQ probably knows, or can find out

Hi, I would like to know which MC version you are using when you see the difference.. Also, could you list all the parameters and their values that are active in each effect (3D Warp and 3D Pip)? Is there a background image involved? Thanks for posting.

I would try linking the files on a different Avid system to learn more about this. Will that different Avid system have no issues...or the same as you've described?
