We have a "Bin Map" and a "Sequence Map", now what I'd like is a "UI Map". Why? Because there are just too many important tools with important names that are shown in a small-font either 90 degrees sideways, or shortened with ellipses (...) as well only viewable by mousing over to a spindown, and then once made visible

+1 with So many available tracks, not just Video but Audio as well, which could use the same treatment for a keyboard-activated Solo, Mute, etc., I think we need a Numeric-keypad+Modifier(s) combo to address any and ALL potential mouse-less interactions with the Track Panel--- plus at least some customizable, dedicated icons/keypress-able options. I use both methods, at times. They are not mutually excusive, but the minute you depart MC, it is vital that you know the "rules". For instance, it used to be very important to NOT wind up with duplicate mxfs residing in different MXF > Folders, because they would "cancel out" and then you may think you don't have a file.

If mediatool can be used to Select ALL your sound files, across a variety of projects, spread across various attached drives, what's wrong with Consolidating them all to a new drive's empty MXF > 1 Folder? If you did that, and then deleted those original masterclips, would your newly consolidated .new audio masterclips still be online (or
