For us it always reboot.

There are two passwords. There is the Management Console password and also the "agent" or system password. The agent password can access the system setting (port 5015) and the management console. You will need to enter the system settings (chassis IP: 5015) and change that password. In older Nexis the default was "se-admin".

Not without the involvement of your company's IT department. VPN, network share, etc. would work but by itself, the Nexis does not have a way to transmit across the internet.

Avid I think changed it because on newer OSX releases, apps are not allowed to write at the root of the system drive. To keep it consistent across both OS, any files created on the system drive will lead to the Public folder instead.

The Sony Creative version is the older one. They transferred the development of XAVC AMA plugins to Nablet. Use the Nablet version.

Link then consolidate to the internal flash drive. Then test. Copy the file to the internal drive, link and then playback. See which plays correctly - the consolidated version or the copy in the internal drive.

What storage are you using? Have you tried consolidating the media in to Avid MXF file?
