I'm not sure if I see any real measurealbe performace boost in Media Composer, BUT the huge perfomance increase when using Adobe Media Encoder has been well worth the investment. Encoding for broadcast or the web is 3 to 4 times faster

I have had to convert quite a bit of DJI 60p footage to 1080i for use in Media Composer and I finally found a workflow that produces excellent results. Unfortunately, it requires converting the footage with Adobe Premiere Pro.
