....as a test...massive amounts of money has been spent to get old gear... ....not really...a Mac Mini for $25 ....an AVID Mojo for not much....and a good looking Sony DVCAM with low hours and usage.... ....this will allow shooting some carefully exposed DVCAM material and having deck control of the camera through Firewire to capture....and the Mojo

...the MC Titler+ files are finished here....now the MC First crew needs some for training, etc.... ...and they can't open MC Bins so it will have to be done in First....see link for some templates for the trainees out there....nothing complex...just titles only....no MC Effects added....enjoy.... ....the project, fonts and source files are included

...the gud nuz....any Mac old enuff to have a Firewire port is going to be OK to run an OS/MC combination that supports it...but not much modern..... ...and they are cheap....

...if you are going to get an old MAC...perhaps get one with Firewire natively so you dont have to adapt anything from Thunderbolt 3 or 4....cheaper too....I just bought a mac mini with Firewire 800 for $25....a bargain if it works....

....all the best.....stuff like this is why folks hang on to old Mac CPUs/Mojos/Adrenaline/etc and use them once in a blue moon.... ....if you have access to a PC...load up no later than V 2022.x...get a 1394 firewire card and get your footaqe in....if you need deck control that should work.....same for the Mac...get an old one with firewire built in
