    Probably done in both shooting and post... Chances are it was shot at a very hi resolution camera - and "shot flat" then color corrected followed by color grading in post.

    What you describe is a VERY difficult method of editing... I prefer to start with the audio... the video is more or less an after thought or revolves around the audio.
