    In general, I think you have a point... if that point is... Apple is just giving up on the pro level editing application... but, I still find it difficult to believe this to be a fact...     apparently they do care... They just re-opened up support downloads for FCP.... http://support.apple.com/downloads/#final_cut_studio But in the same stroke... I read they are also now selling Adobe CS5.5 on the Apple site. Where I come from... we call that... "peeing in the soup."

    Since we are guessing that Apple did this intentionally... Which I doubt... and you will soon see many upgrades in the VERY near future to help plug the holes created by FCPX.... I am going to guess that AVID and Adobe will be able to contend on the Android side of the portible media world AND KEEP their pro level status editing application. (side note
