Yep... switch out of Script View would be the best medicine... hopefully, you wouldn't get the error issues you seem to be getting... And... if you havent' already seen this thread...here ya' go: http://community.avid.com/forums/t/84957.aspx
I use Script View extensively but these errors don't only occur there. Although after following your link, it said that quick scrubbing could trigger it, which is true in my case. I can usually scrub fine but the error messages are often after lengthy processing and quick scrubs.
The errors don't

I am not sure how you could do a proxy... since the last I looked MC doesn't use proxies... The Cineform codec is way better than using the original AVCH file as an editing media... but, then so is DNxHD. Just because the size of the Cineform codec is smaller does not mean you are loosing quality. In fact, that is one of the advantages of using

MC 5.0.3.5
I can continue work in the timeline... but, I can not continue using the pop-up monitors...Have you tried to use the pop-up monitors in an editing

Can anyone test this issue out with MC 4.0 version.... or, an MC version that is using the most recent patchs installed? To duplicate the error... simply open up 7 or more pop-up monitors

I was opening up pop up windows... and, after about 8 pop ups... this showed up: The pop up windows are not useable after this error message showed...

Sounds very much like a consumer level camera... and without more details it would be tough to say what to look out for... I think the best way to ask this question is...like this: I need a camera to shoot this {fill in the blank} type of camera work. Could be family video type shooting... could be you need compactness because you travel... could be

The original video fomat is file based H264 Mov from a Canon DSLR The original video source has the Encoded UTC creation date... I can see the date when I drop it into SUPER for video details. The Creation Date in AVID (per bin creation date column) is indicated to be the day that I downloaded the from the SD card to the Hard Drive. The Creation Date
