Do you use multiple raids... or do you have everthing on the single Raid 0 HD setup? And, when I say "everything"... I mean do you have your Video source material, your operating system, and your render drive all on that single raid 0 setup?

What is your video source? I bet you are using HD with a high bandwidth (i.e., kb/secs or Mb/sec) as your video source.

It is my understanding that the 10bit choice is for existing 10bit video... you wouldn't use a 10 bit choice if your original video is only 8 bit. I can see no reason why you shouldn't use the an AC3 filter with an increase in volume (but, you will have to find the correct volume that works best). Maybe someone with audio experence can chime in... but, off hand your concerns are unwarranted. There are a lot way to define the "best" video codec. And, what final format you want to
