Oliver, having you on-board is a really good thing. Can you explain the "behind the scenes" comment? Just one example: Seems to me we have a Feature Request forum and a lot of good moderators who could be used by Avid right now to vet and rank these features and report to the company (to a management person specifically assigned to that task

Fair enough. And as WE suggested (not Avid, mind you), having folks like Oliver, Pat and the other well-respected users and moderators involved can only be a good thing. But, will someone please explain to me specifically what Avid seeks to get from this association that differs from what they could get from these forums, and why spending dwindling

Interesting. Should we charge Avid for this advice? Wasn't it in this thread that we suggested Forum moderators would be more listened to than suits on stage? That's the way it should go; we give ideas and if Avid uses them, we get a cash payment! ;-)
