Were these files AMA'd directly from the project you are working in and not associated with another project first? Michael
Hi Michael, Yes, the P2 files are all from directly within the project and I've been able to consistently re-create the problem with any P2 media in any project. PhraseFind simply

I've have PhraseFind since it was released as a bundle with 5.5. I've had great success using it, but recently it does not work with any of the AMA/P2 (DVCPRO 1080 HD) media I'm working with on a fairly large long-format program. It will find words on the few SD digitized clips within the project, but nothing on any of the P2 media via AMA

I get the dae.dll unload error every time I close MC 5.5.1. Haven't verified if it only affects older projects because everthing I'm currently working on is older than the upgrade. Also, every project I'm working on has many Audio Suite plug-ins working. Otherwise, 5.5.1 seems to be pretty solid and the Smart Tool finally seems to behave

Wow, PhraseFind is FANTASTIC! I am extremely happy with the functionality and the cost factor with the 5.5 upgrade included. I've used it numerous times for the past week and I'm very, very impressed with the results. What a great time-saver!

I just bought a PROAVIO EditBox 8 slot enclosure (without drives) and a compatible MINI SAS RAID controller and cables for under $1200. I also have 2 Avid VideoRAID boxes with 10 drives each, setup in full fail-safe RAID setup with a dual channel ATTO controller card. Both systems handle DVCPRO HD and any of the Avid HD codecs with ease. However, the

Kind of sounds like you have material that spanned more than one original P2 card. Try importing clips from cards that were shot at approx. the same time into the same bin and see if that helps.
-
Hi Lindsay, Yes, copying all the P2 folders to a single location is exactly what you should do. Then use AMA to load each P2 folder to the same bin and all the media should be there.

We use MacDrive on our PCs and Paragon on our Macs. No issues on either platform.

Though I don't post often, I follow the forum on a daily basis. But I have posted my disappointment over many of the terrible new "features" in MC5. AGAIN. the SmartTool simply must be an option that can be disabled permanently and the interface color with no default white background is a total failure on the part of the Avid design team
