I've just had the same problem. Someone using FCP exported this file. MediaInfo says it's a HDV 1080i file. QT wouldn't play it - black screen but audio played. VLC did play it but it was a bit of a struggle. Sorenson Squeeze 9 also produced a white screen and would crash every time I tried... (read more)

I am using fast import to bring in clips from a Z5 camera into MC8. Most of the clips are fine, but on occasion there will be a clip that is 1 second long, and yet on the camera the clip will playback the clip from the flashcard at longer than this, such as 30 seconds or up to 2 minutes.
