Cineform First Light LUT Playback slow

Hi. Ok so for some strange reason when I use any LUT from the preset LUTs built in to First Light to give me footage a little flair I makes it stutter and lag in Media Composer 5.5.2. I am using AMA and if I turn off 3D LUT then it plays back perfectly smooth. I am an a Core i7 950 with a X58 chipset mother board and 6Gigs of ram and the footage is playing back from a pair of Seagate 1.5TB 7200 RPM drives RAIDed together so HD speed is not an issue. Not sure why this is going on. Inside First Light I can playback fine totally smooth and can even go full screen with no problems what so ever. I checked my CPU monitor and the processor is hardly breaking a sweat. Not sure where the issue is. My video card is an nVidia Quadro 600 card with the driver version supplied by avid with their install. Any ideas? Is there a step I'm missing?

Re: Cineform First Light LUT Playback slow

First Light I think is OpenGL accelerated when dealing with Cineform media. But when it is handed to to other applications, the playback and processing of the LUT (metadata) is all CPU, thus causing a performance discrepency.

Re: Cineform First Light LUT Playback slow

That may be true. (Waiting to hear back from the guys at cineform still). I think though that I have PLENTY of power to playback 1080i without hickup or issue with a core i7-950 and raided 7200rpm HDs.
