Hi all,
For those of you who like seeing Avid equipment on TV, watch the CBS Evening News tonight, December 8th, 2010. There will be a piece about Wikileaks by London correspondent Mark Phillips. During Phillips' on camera he walks between two equipment racks, and the one on his right (screen left) is full of Avid stuff.
There are Adrenaline boxes, Unity Isis engines, Airspeeds, and included among the racks is the computer running the very Media Composer Nitris DX on which the piece was cut.
Enjoy!
ciao,Carl

That reminds me of a piece that was done recently on the British Government gathering and storing personal data on citizens and the B-Roll for the line about the information being gathered on "Large Storage Arrays" was a 3 crate Unity MediaNet system in a rack!
In agreement, Unity. In Disagreement, Discussion. In all things, Charity.
