Most people who visit here have a problem that they want to get solved.  Avid only offers phone support for approved systems, and paid support simply is not an option for many users.  This forum is a peer-to-peer service.  While Avid employees do read the forums and will occasionally post responses, in general you will find that this is simply Avid users helping other Avid users.

To be able to assist you, we need to know specifics of your problem.  Simply stating "my computer can't capture video" will probably not result in quick answers.

Here is a recipe (thanks Menno) for getting answers quickly:

Only post a question after you have tried to find the answer yourself.  Use the search functions to see if the question has been answered before and continue searching while you wait for someone to take up your question.  You might even find the answer yourself!

Post a clear subject for your question ("I Need Help" is too vague.)

Make sure you have updated your system specifications in your user profile.  Please include your Avid software version, Apple model and OS version, Quicktime version, and any related hardware (including Avid hardware and related cameras, decks, hard drives, etc.)

Never post your system ID, dongle ID, or software serial number in the forums.  The only time you need to provide that information is when requested specifically by Avid staff to assist you with a licensing or upgrade issue.

Always "bump" a thread instead of starting a new one.  By bumping (replying to your own thread with the word "bump") your question will appear at the top of the forum list for some time, thus drawing more attention.

If you get the problem solved, please report your findings back in the original thread.  This will help others who search for your problem find the answer in the future.

Always be courteous to others and abide the forum rules.
