Hi all, I went to install the After Effects EMP that came in the installers folder with my MC5 download ... I have a copy of After Effects CS4 ... when I try install the EMP, I get an error message "ytou must have After Effects installed" .. I do indeed have After Effects installed, obviously this EMP is not seeing it ... can anyone shed light on this for me?
thanks in advance
And back to a windowless room full of Avids he goes.
Save yourself the trouble: EMP only works with DNA family, not DX family. (so it isn't going to work for you anyway)
dreid, I have a sollution to your problem, but not one you're going to like - just installed EMP that came with my old MC4 disk, and it works OK. However, I'm on a SDI Mojo... Sorry, AE EMP won't work on DX Mojo or Nitris.
Thanks for the info guys ... can Avid please put this on the to-do list? EMP should work even better with mojodx, right?
I second that...can't work without EMP myself
If you have the MXO2 mini you can download drivers for Adobe products. I suspect Avid won't have much incentive to advance EMP.
I have the same problem, I have Mojo DX and I'm not able to view my AE video using EMP. Would a Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro PCI card work on the same system as the Mojo DX is on, or in order to view my AE video do I need to operate AE on a different system?
Thanks

that doesn't sound right to me, Avid should not allow the lowest end hardware to have a better function than DX systems (Nitris and Mojo), doesnt make sense, clearly the DX end user wants this, is the plug-in that difficult to develop? EMP would be much more appreciated by me than any obscure audio plugin or plasma wipe ...
