    Error "newMediaDurationInFrames exceeds compLength"?

    Greetings all!  I'm in search of any info on an error we've started seeing in our editors (Newscutters, MM 4.5.8).  Over the past couple of days, editors have occasionally been seeing the following error:

    CompUpdateKnownMediaDurationForEWC()--newMediaDurationInFrames exceeds compLength

    We've had a couple of suspects as to what might be causing this error, but we've pretty much elimintated them; I did some googling and searching here and couldn't come up with anything.  Anyone else ever seen this error and have any idea on what it might mean?  TIA!

    Sounds like your masterclips don't match the media.   Most likely these are corrupted clips,  or subclips of a corrupted clip.

    Delete the clip and media, and redigitize from scratch.
