    Studio toolkit

I will be be upgrading from AXP pro (4.6) to Media composer 2.7, and would like to add Studio Toolkit.  Is that addition complicated (considering Toolkit 5.6), and does Toolkit have its own dongle?

    Thanks

    Re: Studio toolkit

It is a dongle update that "adds" Studio Toolkit to you existing dongle, either Xpress Pro or Media Composer.  The Studio Toolkit is a separate installer as well, which can be downloaded from the Download Center, or may come with a physical kit.  The current Studio Toolkit installer is v5.7.

    ... why not 2.8.1?

    Re: Studio toolkit

Sorry, I was unclear . . .  I just BOUGHT MC 2.7 (rather than "upgraded").  And my question is, once I get my brain wrapped around MC, could I add toolkit 5.6 to it?  tks

You need STK v5.7, to go with MCS 2.7.  But, STK v5.7 will work with MCS v2.8.1, which is a free upgrade if you already have v2.7.

    Re: Studio toolkit

OK - thanks very much.  Will give it a spin when I feel ready.
