    4 audio chanels sync problem

    Hello,

The question is: How can I autosync 4 audio and a video in Avid Xpress Pro?

    The material that I have:

        -Video (without audio chanels)

-Audio source 1 (captured to A1 and A2 chanels   -   audio from bug mics on actors)

-Audio source 2 (captured also to A1 and A2 chanels - audio from booms)

The material was captured on a Avid mojo and Avid XpressPro 5.5.3

Is there a way to get in the end subclips with 4 audio tracks and a video track?

    Thanks for the answers.

    Regards

The best way would be to create sync clips. However, you cannot sync the clips in one go, since there are two A1's and two A2's present. If you merge the V1+A1A2+A1A2, you'll end up with a group clip.

What you could do is throw all V into a sequence, and add Audio Source #1 to it, then add Audio Source #2 to it, so you'll end up with a V1A1A2A3A4 sequence. Now subsequence each take, then select these subsequenced takes and hit Autosync, and you will end up with sync clips, which behave just like any subclip.
