what is the diffrence between DNxHD 185 to DNxHD 185 X?

is it just the 8bit/10bit color space?

can someone please explain me more about the difrenece between  8 bit and 10 bit?

Yes - 'x' means 10 bit.

Color bith depth basically means how accurate are you for a given value in a specified range. Computers use finite numerical value to represent an inifite analog occurence.

In video world, 8 bit is 0-255 steps while 10 is 0-1024 for Y-Cr-Cb (the 3 digital components of broadcast video).
They are representing the same range of 0-100 IRE (an analog measurement), but 10 bit gives you smaller 'slices'.

Higher bit depth usually means higher storage requirements and more CPU power to process.
