So this one has probably been discussed several times before but I figured you all might have a quick reply for this.
The situation is as follows:
Footage shot in SD 23.98p with DVX100's was digitized without removing pulldown into a 29.97i project. The director wants to cut a 10 minute demo using this NTSC footage but would later like to re-conform at 23.98p for blowup to 1080p/23.98, grading and mastering.
The question is; what is the best way of conforming an SD 29.97i sequence into a 23.98p sequence? I believe that within a 23.98p project it is possible to TC convert 30fps clips into 24fps clips. Will this deliver the appropriate conform of the sequence in 23.98p? Also, is it possible to TC convert bins containing logged clips at 30fps to clips containing 24fps clips?
I won't mention the fact that the assistants digitized 300 hours of footage without removing pulldown... oops, I just did. We're going to have fun with this one.

You can do this for just the sequence you want to move over if needed.
