    Batch create subclips (for CLIPS)

I finally upgraded to 2023.12 and was trying out the "what's new" features.

The "batch create subclips" option (for CLIPS) is flummoxing me a bit. from what I can see from my tests (on a single master clip)

     - sublips are created only if In-OUT points are present.

    - does not create subclips based on scene change

    - does not create subclips based on MARKERS!

If more than one Master clip is selected - it will create subclips from all the selected master clips - but again, provided In-OUT points are present.

Is this how it is meant to work?

So what does the option "for entire clip" mean? Selecting that just creates a sublip of the entire clip. This might be useful for workflows where the only subclips are used... but little else...

    ...perhaps I'm missing something
