I captured some SD file using a standalone BlackMagic capture card recording to the Uncompressed YUV 10bit codec (v210).
MC 2021.12 on Big Sur will not link to it with either UME or Quicktime selected in the source browser. The same files WILL link on a 2018.11 system on El Capitan.
I can not consolidate on the 2018.11 system but I can transcode to 1:1 10b(NTSC) Avid MXF files. As other.mov wrapped codec are valid in the post QT world of Avid, I feel the Uncompressed codecs should be as well.

Jef,
This may be a mac limitation more than an Avid one, no? But I'd have to check if that one has become EOL or not. Great how we become more and more pigeon-holed into new ecosystems our flexibility becomes less and less, huh?

Hi Jason,
Not sure how it is a Mac limit. Both Premiere and Resolve 17.x have no issues seeing, playing, creating this codec on the very same Mac that is running the Avid which cannot. I am currently getting lots of requests to help client "archive" old projects and shows. Quite a complicated issue to do responsibly. So here I am. It is definitely a world of one step forward and X steps back.
