Cant run AMC, because "not activated"; Avid Link says it is activated

I updated Avid Media Composer to the last version, because as I wanted to run AMC a window popped up, saying that I need to activate my account (which has been activated, as I used this account for the last two years, editing every two days). So I thought maybe the update would fix this, but I was wrong. Now I have the last version installed, but the problem remains the same. I can't run AMC, because apparently it is not activated, but in Avid Link it says I am activated. Restarting the computer and reinstalling AMC didn't anything.

How do I get AMC running again? I need it ASAP as I'm professionally dependend

    Hi friedel,

You should create a case on the MyAvid support portal and someone will get to you asap. https://www.avid.com/US/support/support-contact  If you don't get anywhere with them, send an email to Chris Bové ([email protected]).  He is Avid's customer advocate, and can help you.
