How to relink media from Canon XF?

    Hello

I am trying to relink Canon XF100 media to MC  8.44

The files are stored like this:

    (DRIVE NAME):(Folder -"EVENT NAME"):(Folder -"CONTENTS NAME"):(Folder -"CLIPS001"):

    (Folder -"AA2064" ;INDEX.MIF): (AA2064.CIF; AA2064.XML; AA206401.MXF; AA206401.SIF )

I cannot find out how to link to all .MXF-files in the (CLIPS001) folder at once.

When i try to  "link to media" i getting error messge - "unable to link clips at (DRIVE NAME):(PROJECT NAME):(CHARACTER NAME):(CLIPS001)"

    what am I missing?

    Thanks

Re: How to relink media from Canon XF?

    I almost found a solution -

    1. i open a folder called "EVENT NAME", Inside I opened a folder called "CONTENTS" and put  in the "CLIPS0001" "CLIPS0002" "CLIPS0003" "CLIPS0004" "CLIPS0005" "CLIPS0006"...."CLIPS00020" folders

2.i select the "Canon XF Plugin 64" in the AMA link window.

3.Then do a Link to the folder ABOVE the "CONTENTS" folder (the "EVENT NAME" folder)
The thing is, its link to 6 clips instead of 11 in "CLIPS0001" folder.

I'm getting an error message - "Unable to link 5 clips. Check console window or log file for mor information"

    also, I can't link to folders"CLIPS0002" "CLIPS0003" "CLIPS0004" "CLIPS0005" "CLIPS0006"...."CLIPS00020"

     Anyone, know the solution?

Did you find a way of doing this?  I'm in the same boat, I have multi-clips I want to ingest in one hit rather than go in and pick the .mxf file from each folder.

    Thank you

If you have the Canon XF AMA plugin installed you should be able in the source browser to eneable the button that shows folders as media volumes. And then AMA link the whole folder as one AMA master clip.

You shouldn't  be digging out individual MXF files.
