Folks:
So I'm working on the seventh of an eight-hour documentary. Using AMC v8.8.1 with Boris Continuum Complete, Sapphinre, and NewBlue Total FX as some plug-ins (all seemed to install properly and when I drop them onto the tTimeline, AMC doesn't yell at me).
Now when I activate all my track highlight the entire Timeline, and choose "Render In-Out," I get an errort mesaage that says "Some effects are not recognized and will not be rendered." I can go ahead and continue the render process... Buit what's the deal...?
How can I find out WHICH effects AMC isn't rendering (beyond playing ti through in real time and just wtxching for missing FX)? Any idea why all-of-a-sudden AMC isn't liiking something?
Thanks, as always!

In the timeline, an unrecognized effect should look like a blank effect icon. Just a pink rectangle with no little pictogram in it.
If you generate a Sequence Report, you can tell it to show you an effects summary including effects locations, and it might show up in there (I assume this would work in v8.x, but I don't have one to test with. It works on 2020.4).

Thanks for the lead. I'll check and get back...
I don't have my MC in front of me, but I seem to remember that if you use keyboard shortcut it re-renders everything, but if you use the button it only renders effects not already rendered... ???
